There were reports in Indonesian language coming out saying that the Minister for Secretary of the Prime Minister and the Minister for Defense of the Provisional Government of the United Liberation Movement for West Papua recently attended the United Nations Human Rights Commission annual meeting in Geneva.
The report says that the two Ministers of the ULMWP Provisional Government attended the meeting without any permit or instruction or knowledge of the Interim President of West Papua, Hon. Benny Wenda.
When asked, Hon. Wenda says he does not know who actually paid their tickets and who invited them. However, he says he has requested the two ministers to submit written report.
There were also two prominent church leaders and also two popular women’s leaders flown to Geneva.
Two questions remain unanswered
- Who sponsored all the expenses for the travel?
- What was the agenda they discussed, who put the agenda to them?
