They are targeting key West Papuan government officials. Deputy governor Klement Tinal was murdered in Jakarta last week.
Is Lukas Enembe, Papuan Governor, next??
Two months ago, the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe wasn’t feeling well so he decided to cross over the border to PNG to seek urgent medical treatment. However he was forced to return back to Jayapura at Wutung Border Post against his will by Indonesian government’s agents .Governor Lukas Enembe didn’t trust Indonesian hospital and decided that he would break all the protocols and cross over to PNG to seek help there. He realised that he has no hope. Seeking urgent medical help in PNG is the only solution so that he can be properly diagnosed and he would know the exact cause of his illness. He trusted PNG nurses and doctors more than the Indonesians.
His deputy , Klement Tinal however made a wrong decision in his life to seek medical treatment in Jakarta. He was murdered on his hospital bed in Jakarta, Indonesia. We suspected the two Papuan Governors had been poisoned. Indonesian government wanted them out so they can install their own pro-Indonesian Governors because they don’t trust these two leaders who originated from the Highlands of West Papua where massive military operations and airstrikes upon Papuan villages are taking place.
The situation in West Papua is extremely urgent. Indonesian government has ran out of good ideas and is murdering whoever that crosses its pathway. UN officials must visit West Papua immediately. The lives of 3 million Melanesian Pacific peoples of West Papua are in great danger.
Just to add on to brother Lewis’ call, I’m also calling on our MSG Leaders to put pressure on Indonesia to allow for foreign and independent media to enter West Papua. There are so much that the world needs to know about what’s happening on the ground especially the ongoing violation of human rights, but are being kept hidden through strict rules by the Jakarta authorities on all bodies including the media. They continued to tell the world everything is ok, but are too worried to allow the indigenous West Papuans to talk to the media.
Rest in eternal peace
