One person has died at Lenakel Hospital on Tanna and three others have sustained injuries following an alleged witchcraft incident at Laul village in the Middlebush area.
This was conveyed by the Vanuatu Police Force (VPF) Media, following the arrest of five suspects by the police.
Police executed the arrest after the death and injuries, which were sustained during a meeting concerning the matter, stated the VPF Media.
The VPF assured family members of both parties that the police are now dealing with the case and that they should keep calm and let police handle the matter under the law.
